What is ‘We are Wisconsin’?
When Republican governor Scott Walker introduced a ‘repair’ bill in Wisconsin threatening to wipe out public sector workers’ rights and lock out public debate, six (extra)ordinary citizens joined the growing protest at the Wisconsin State Capitol, and spent the next twenty-six days building a movement that not only challenged the bill, but the soul of a nation.

This is an amazing documentary following six people, including nurse Candice Owley, as events unfold over the twenty-six days. Candice is also president of the Wisconsin Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals, and will be our guest of honour at the screening.
