US Unions Defeat Fast Track: Where To Next?

newcolor-feedback-1On Saturday, June 14th I blogged a report on the defeat of ‘Fast Track’ in the US House Of Representatives and the role US unions played in the defeat. It appeared on the TUC’s Stronger Unions website.

You can read it by clicking here.

As predicted, the pro TPP lobby and the Obama administration will be back this week to try and overturn the decision. This is a complex situation and the US unions appear to be ready to handle it!

The United Steelworkers in the USA have sent out this bulletin through its Rapid Response network which we are publishing below which explains what happened in the House and what unions can expect next week.

Also worth reading is a report on the Guardian’s website published today.
