Whose side are the Tories on?

9595 Conservative MPs have called for the UK to have an opt-out for every single piece of European law. They want to “lift EU burdens on business” and “disapply the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights”.

That would mean that a UK government could scrap many of the rights at work we rely on – rights that are guaranteed by Europe. Rights like:

  • equal treatment for agency workers
  • rights for mums, like time off for ante-natal appointments.
  • four weeks paid leave

What might Tory MPs try to scrap first?

Sign the letter to Cameron here (or click on the graphic) to tell him it’s time to start listening to working Britain – and stop negotiating to tear our rights at work apart.
